Subject: Application for Camp Counselor Position
My name is Haley Enos and I am interested in the Camp Counselor position at Camp Seaside that was advertised in the newspaper on January 31, 2021.
For the past two years I have worked as a babysitter caring for four children in my neighborhood. Some of my responsibilities include creating arts and crafts projects for the kids to engage in, preparing meals, helping with homework, and driving them from place to place. Although I am a full time student I have been able to communicate openly with the family in order to manage both of these responsibilities effectively.
I feel passionate about working with children, and I believe that it is important to bring a positive attitude to every day. Not only does having a positive energy help keep the kids engaged but it also helps to foster a better connection.
Having a lot of energy throughout the day allows me to accomplish as much as possible and optimize my time. I believe that my strong work ethic along with my passion for working with children makes me a great candidate for this position.
