Behavioral Health Professional – St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center
Required Skills:
90 college credits required
1-3 years previous experience preferred
Must be eligible for a School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (SB-BHP)
Must obtain BHP certification within 1 year of hire
Ability to handle multiple priorities and make decisions under pressure
Physical interventions require brief but extreme periods of physical exertion to manage out of control student behaviors
Excellent written, verbal , and interpersonal skills required

Currently enrolled as a second year undergraduate studying Psychology at the University of New England
Three years experience working as a teacher’s assistant at the School for Early Learning (grades K-6)
Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
Strong collaboration skills
Valid driver’s license and form of transportation
