The first two rounds of peer review were very helpful while working through the first few drafts of my Lone Wolf Speech. I received positive feedback from both groups about the organization and style of my speech, and I would agree that this is one thing that is working well so far. I think my speech has a good balance between personal anecdotes and objective advice which is in line with the style that I was trying to have. I also received feedback from my peers that I did a good job making the connection between the professional environment and the college environment which I was happy to hear.
As for aspects that still need more work, I first need to work on developing my conclusion since I went into the dry-dry run without one. My goal for this is to figure out how I can wrap up my speech without sounding too cheesy, while also trying to leave the audience with something to think about and take with them. I also need to work on logistic things like figuring out how to incorporate my visual aid and what that will look like, as well as practicing over and over so that I don’t have to read my script word for word.
