During Friday’s class my team and I generated our team name and exchanged contact information so that we can easily collaborate outside of class during the upcoming weeks. Since Friday’s class I’ve generated a list of all the people I know who fit the criteria to be interviewees for this project. Next, I chose my top one or two people from each category to reach out to. Over the weekend I was able to line up interviews with two different juniors from UNE that I will hopefully be able to complete sometime this week before our first check in.
I think a highlight of the project so far would be the makeup of my group itself. In total we have two freshman students and two senior students which compose our group. I believe that this will give us a relatively diverse range of students to interview for this project. Hopefully we will be able to acquire a wider range of student advice and experience because of this. I think a challenge that we will face will be working as a group outside of class since there are several different elements to this project and everyone has such different schedules. However, I think being productive during our in class work time and creating detailed expectations for out of class work will help us out in this respect.
