For me, this is the perfect short and sweet calm down video that I would need right before an interview or any other stressful event. All of the videos that were included were taken over time in various different locations by me. The sound that I included as the background noise is one example of meditation music that I often use to relax my mind. I really enjoy this one in particular because it includes a mix of musical elements as well as nature sounds! I also like that it can be played over and over again, whether you’re closing your eyes just to listen to the sound, or you’re reading the words that correlate as well.
I also included a much shortened version of the 4, 7, 8 breath work in my video as this is one of the best natural techniques for helping me with anxiety. Although the original version is meant to be repeated 3-4 times and is much more drawn out, I think that the short clips and the background music in the video aid in the calm down effect despite the breathing being shortened.
