The first thing that I will address when revising my resume is reader friendliness, making sure that all of my most important information is presented in a way that makes it easy to pick out, and assuring that the white space on the page is being used to enhance readability. I would like to reorganize my education section, as this is a part of my resume that is really strong. I want to assure that my layout is visually appealing and all of the information is presented in an organized and clear manner. I also want to reformat some of my lists of previous experiences and responsibilities to fill up the space better and also to make the information easier to digest.
Similarly to peer review for our cover letters, peer reviewing our resumes gave me some more insight about the different kinds of format that are available to use. It was interesting to see the ways that some people utilized other tools like color, size, or layout to make their information look more visually appealing or come across in a different way. I will definitely be using some of the bits and pieces that my fellow classmates used in their work that I found to be particularly strong, and incorporating them into my work to create a clean and professional final product.
